Margo Utomo Eco Resort is an established resort hotel creating a magic flair with its picturesque rows of accommodation with a choice of different types of small but cosy rooms, all with bathrooms attached. The massage centre is right at the good-sized swimming pool with a children pool attached, surrounded by beautiful greenery and trees. An open air restaurant caters for your taste buds and the daily breakfast. A very elegant reception and lobby welcomes all the guests with grand splendour of a bygone area. Some limited meeting options are also available. In the front area is a sizeable children playground. The highlight and the pride of the resort is however the beautiful garden area with a wide array of exotic plants, flowers, bushes and trees. Many birds, small lizards and hundreds of butterflies create magic to the garden. Many guests describe it to be like a botanical garden.

Margo Utomo was first started as Margo Utomo Homestay where the owner introduced as one of the first the concept of eco/argo tourism providing basic accommodation within the plantation and the dairy farm. It was intended to have guests experience basic living in the a village environment, being in touch with the local people enjoying their natural hospitality. In addition, the guests could savour all the products grown in its own garden, plantation and farm. In short to experience a life style the guests were not accustomed to anymore. 

Both Margo Utomo Resorts have come a long way since then but the original vision of the late Mr. H.R.M. Moestadjab, the founder of Margo Utomo, is followed until today by his daughter Endang Mariana who continues to keep the legacy of the brilliant vision of her father alive.
